Even though I had no plans for this old cabin, I couldn't resist rescuing it from being wrecked to make room for new construction. It originally resided about half a mile up Cattle Creek Rd. and one of the footers was inscribed "Cattle Cate". The footprint is 12' X 14' and the peak of the metal roof is about 12' high. You may wish to restore it or you may wish to salvage over 600 linear feet of 5-3/4" X 3/4" tongue and groove barn wood (think picture frames). The plywood is covering the windows, some of which are broken, some of which just require reglazing. Also included are some salvaged windows, a large double pane door, plastic gutters and downspouts, some porcelain insulators and an electric junction box with circuit breakers. Whatever you decide to do with this treasure, you'll have to find a way to move it first. We got it over here on a flatbed trailer. Pictures have been scaled down to enable fast loading of page.
